The sixth grade social studies curriculum is a twenty-weekcourse.
The students on team 6-3 willhave science from January to June.
Science Skills
The students will become familiar with basic science safety, the steps of the scientific method, and basic metric measurements using a balance, graduated cylinder, thermometer, and meter stick.
Cells
The students will learn to compare and contrast plant and animal cell organelles, using a microscope.
Body Systems
For each body system, we will focus on the importance, basic functions, and basic structure.
We will cover the following body systems:
skeletal system
muscular system
endocrine system
nervous system
circulatory system
respiratory system
digestive system
excretory system
immune system
