1:1 computing places the responsibility directly in the hands of each child. Experience indicates that this creates a sense of ownership and pride. This shift in perception has been correlated to a decrease in loss and damage.
We expect to see a decrease in our rate of damage, but we intend to continue to plan for our current amount of damage. Even with this plan, the cost remains less than the cost of continuing our customary methodology.
