Music In Our Lives  

Students will learn how to play the keyboard. 
Music Theory 1
The objective of Music Theory 1 is to provide students with a basic understanding of the rudiments of music.  
Music Theory 2 
The objective of Music Theory 2 is to increase skill and understanding of material mastered in Music Theory 1.   
Chorale
 
Chorale is open to all students. In addition to daily class time, students are required to attend several voice classes during each semester.  
Concert Choir    
All students are eligible for Concert Choir.  However, students are selected based on their audition performances.  
Vocal Jazz Ensemble   
Students who participate in Concert Choir, are eligible for Vocal Jazz Ensemble.  Students will perform jazz and contemporary music.   
Symphonic Band  
Advanced High School/College level music performance course. 
Concert Band
High School level music performance course. 
Jazz Ensemble 
Students can audition for Jazz Ensemble during the spring of each school year.  Students who play trombone, trumpet, saxophone, piano, bass, drums, guitar, and vibes are eligible to audition.

701 Jazz Band 
701 Jazz Band is a non-credit ensemble that meets before school, two days per week.  This ensemble is open to any student who performs on a musical instrument (sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, guitar, drums, and vibes).
