Niagara Wheatfield Families,
At this point in the school year students have become familiar with their new teachers, schedules, and daily routine. Our teachers have made connections with their students, and better understand individual strengths and weaknesses. Our staff is working collaboratively to create a safe, clean and student friendly learning environment.
Our Building Principals will share their Comprehensive School Educational Planning (CSEP) goals at our upcoming Board of Education meetings. The CSEP goals align with the following Comprehensive District Educational Planning (CDEP) goals:
2017-2018 CDEP Goals
VERTICALLY ALIGNED K-12 Common scope and sequence maps will be developed and/or revised.
UTILIZE ASSESSMENT DATA TO DIAGNOSE NEEDS AND IDENTIFY RESEARCH BASED METHODOLOGIES TO DRIVE INSTRUCTION.
REVISE RESPONSE TO INTERVENTION (RTI) AND ACADEMIC INTERVENTION SERVICES (AIS) PATHWAYS TO PRESCRIPTIVELY MEET INDIVIDUAL STUDENT NEEDS.
The District will continue to increase engagement in the school community.
The results of the recent Capital Project vote will enable us to begin much needed roofing work in the summer of 2017, with the second phase of the project expected to commence the summer of 2018. Technicians are finalizing the installation of over 200 Wireless Access Points in our schools. The increased wireless access will allow greater flexibility in the use of current and future technology.
