Use of PhotoShop Elements 2

Photoshop Elements 2 is an image editing program which is available on many of the computers at Niagara-Wheatfield. Though it is easier to use than the original Photoshop program, it has most of the features educators and students will need to create projects across the curriculum.

* Working with Pictures
  + Sizing pictures in more than one way
  + Using basic tools and adjusting options
  + Cropping pictures in more than one way
  + Making color, brightness, and contrast adjustments

* Saving and Printing Pictures
  + Preparing and saving in appropriate formats
  + Saving groups of pictures
  + Setting print options as needed
  + Printing an assortment of pictures in different sizes

* Advanced Funtions
  + Using layers to customize and compose images
  + Moving, copying, and pasting a selection
  + Using all tools and their option settings
  + Using filters and special effects
